Located in Nether Poppleton just off the main York ring road, The Shack offers a cosy setting with a focus on quality food and friendly service.

THE CHEF


Our brand new Head Chef Sam Willis is cooking up a storm in our kitchen. With brand new All Day Breakfast, Main and Kids Menus as well as a wide selection of baked in house cakes and savouries.


With past experience working at Skosh and Mannion & Co, Sam is an extremely talented young chef and we are extremely proud to call him head of The Shack as well as a vital member of the Agility Team.

At The Shack Café, when our doors are open, you can count on our kitchen being in full swing too! We're pleased to offer a seamless dining experience, from the crack of dawn till late. Begin your day with our appetizing breakfast options, available until 11:30 AM. Then, seamlessly transition into our main menu, which kicks in from 11:30 AM on weekends and holidays, and starting at 4 PM on weekdays. Whether it's a hearty meal, a light snack, or something in between, The Shack Café is at your service.
