Recycling and General Waste

We are constantly exceeding our weight allowance on the general waste bin. All staff must ensure we are recycling as much as possible and keeping our genernal waste to a minimum.

 

The majority of our waste can be recycled! Cans, plastic bottles, paper cups, straws and pastic lids and paper carton and pizza boxes can be recycled.

 

All cardbaord boxes and trays can be recycled - all boxes should be flattened bofore they go into the recycle.

 

Remove the plastic wrap from the cardboard tray, put the cardboard in recycle, put the palstic wrap in the gernal waste.

 

All plastic bottles and cans should be squashed before they go into the recycle.

 

All liquids in containers must be tipped down the sink - NO LIQUIDS should be placed in the recycle or the general waste bins, empty paper cups, straws, plastic lids, empty plastic bottles, empty drinks cans.

 

General Waste there is very little that should be going into the general waste - dirty cloths, blue roll, napkins, hand towels, crisp packets, sweet wrappers, food waste and all other plastic wrappers

 

All glass to go in the 240ltr blue glass bin outside.

 

Nappy bins to be emptied and disposed of in the yellow 240ltr nappy bin.

 

Please do not through any liquid in the bin, all liquids should be disposed of down the utility sinks behind the bar (not hand washing sinks) and the containers recycled.


Agility Spring 2024

 Agility Tots Nursery scheduled to be opening Monday 4th March, unlikely we will have children enrolled by then but we will be booking prospective customers in for show rounds with our new Nursery Manager Kerry Pratchett who starts with us on Monday 26th Feb.

 

The Shack Bar and restaurant is scheduled for a launch with extended opening times from Wed 21st Feb and will be open later Wed-Sat offering a bar and full restaurant service to both Agility and Shack cusotmers. This will mean the park will also be open later on these days.

 

Agility Sports Camp will be running sessions during the Feb half term 12th-16th Feb.


Team Work - New Ways of Working

Supervisors to coordinate team members and allocate them specific jobs to help us provide a more efficent service to our customers.

Table Managment/Food Runners


We must have a member of the team stationed on the upstairs bar during all peak times including after school, weekends and holidays. This person is also responsible for managing the upstairs areas keeping them clean and tidy.


Close Downs - We are refining the close down procedures using simple lists to ensure the building is left clean and tidy ready for the next shift.  Supervisors will be training you in the new ways of working.

Till Operators

It is important we know who are processing food orders.


All till operators PLEASE make sure they are logged in with their own login before operating the till.



If you leave the till to go and do another job you must log off before you leave the till or witness another member of staff logging into to the till before you leave it.

Only supervisors and managers can process refunds.



On The Clock

Clocking in - should be done when you are ready to work e.g. once inside the building and personal positions left in staff room, then clock in and LEAVE your mobile phone in the Staff Room.


Clocking out - once you have completed any close down task allocated to you, you should confirm these tasks are completed to the duty manager and ONCE told you can end your shift go to the staff room and clock out before you leave the staff room.



Please ensure your unavailability is up to date at least 6 weeks in advance, this will allow managment to put more rotas on in advance.
